Formed in 1999 by Paul Chesterton and Mike Morris and disbanded in 2005, Atari Champ recorded and performed original music all over the western half of the US. Lyrical topics commonly included loneliness, loss of youth, and space/sci-fi. Often songs were written in a story form and contained drastic dynamic changes and uncommon arrangements.
